Paul Rennie joins Pace Rehabilitation
We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Paul Rennie as Practice Manager of our clinic in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
Our existing Practice Manager, Ankita Mistry, will be going on maternity leave soon, so we’re delighted to have appointed someone as experienced as Paul to join our team as we continue our investment in talented people in 2022.
Paul previously worked as an Army Physiotherapist where he specialised in acute trauma rehabilitation having completed his Masters at UCL in Advanced Cardio Respiratory Care. He spent five years working at both Selly Oak and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in the Military Managed ward.
Paul had a particular interest in functional pain management and was the rehabilitation member for the multidisciplinary pain team. He then moved to DMRC Headley Court where he worked as a Physio, then headed up the Rehabilitation Division before finishing as the Clinical Operations Manager reporting directly to the Clinical Director. During this period, he was responsible for the clinical planning and coordination of the move up to the new location at Stanford Hall.
Leaving the Army in 2018 to focus on his young family he trained as a Secondary school teacher. He is delighted to have ‘recruited’ 4 of his students to successfully apply for Physiotherapy degrees. Having less flexibility than the army, he ‘retired’ again to support his daughter starting school, his wife’s career (and their new dog!).
A keen mountain biker and cook, Paul is excited to return to the world of rehabilitation and support the Amersham site to help deliver holistic rehabilitation.
