Orthotics
At Pace our Orthotic team specialise in complex trauma rehabilitation.
The team includes a number of HCPC registered clinicians including: Orthotist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Psychologist.
One or more of these clinicians may be involved during the assessment and treatment, depending on the clinical presentation.
Our onsite workshop and manufacturing allow for bespoke orthotic design, ensuring we keep the clients functional needs at the forefront of all we prescribe.
Orthotics, or orthoses, are externally applied devices that are prescribed to an individual to provide one or more of the following:
- Correction or prevention of a physical deformity
- Stabilisation of a joint or joints
- Reduction of pain
