Ottobock agrees to acquire Pace Rehabilitation
Prosthetic manufacturer and patient care provider Ottobock have recently agreed to acquire Pace Rehabilitation, one of the UK’s independent providers of prosthetic and rehabilitation services for people who have sustained a serious limb injury.
Established nearly 20 years ago, Pace Rehabilitation has three clinics located in Cheshire, Buckinghamshire and Glasgow that provide a high quality level of service and expertise in the area of rehabilitation services.
“We look forward to completing the acquisition in due course and welcoming Pace Rehabilitation and its team of more than 40 employees to the Ottobock family”, said Phil Yates, Managing Director of Otto Bock Healthcare PLC.
Pace Rehabilitation has been a customer of Ottobock for many years and the acquisition is an ideal opportunity for Ottobock to complement and enhance its offering in the UK and as a leading patient care company with a global footprint.
Pace Rehabilitations’ management team is highly motivated to continue the success story in close collaboration with other patient care entities within Ottobock.
“We look forward to joining forces with Ottobock and benefiting from the opportunities that come with being part of a strong international organisation. We will join a network of clinics within a company that has a track record of bringing new and innovative products to the market. It is great news for all our stakeholders and we are excited for the future”, said Toby Carlsson, Managing Director of Pace Rehabilitation.
