About Us

Pace Rehabilitation is the UK’s leading provider of amputee rehabilitation services.

Established in 2003 by a small team of experienced clinicians, Pace Rehabilitation provides an integrated approach to the treatment of people who have sustained limb loss or serious limb injury.

From our three clinical facilities in the UK, we operate on a national scale, helping more than 3,000 patients reclaim their lives, confidence and independence over the past decade.

As well as working directly with patients, our team works with serious injury law firms, insurers and case managers representing individuals who have sustained major upper or lower limb trauma, whether due to a road accident or workplace incident.

Our multi-disciplinary service includes limb trauma consultancy, pre & post amputation support and comprehensive rehabilitation packages consisting of physiotherapy, prosthetics, orthotics and psychological wellbeing.

I asked for comfort and you have certainly given me that, more than I’d hoped for in fact. The fit is so good that I feel it is part of me, it moves with me instead of against me. Because it fits so well, it feels so much lighter.

Pam

The whole team is absolutely brilliant! I thank them all very much.

Patient, Cheshire

When I was 60, I asked my NHS centre about how I could keep walking for the next thirty years. They gave me a wheelchair! Then I came to Pace. Fourteen years later, I’m still walking and looking for another twenty! So, I’ve extended the challenge! Keep it up, guys! I couldn’t have done it without you!

Patient

I always know what is expected of me and what I can achieve. I know with the team I have that everything is possible again and I will be walking.

Patient, Buckinghamshire

Very friendly and approachable and I feel safe in their hands. I also like their ‘human-ness’ – as I’m treated as an individual and a person rather than just a client. They care about my progress and well being…and it shows.

Patient

Very professional and easy to understand when anything about the prosthetics too me. Pace took the time to make sure I understood everything. Very easy to work with and again always reassuring me on the issues I had with the amputation explaining how the prosthesis will help in a way I understood.

Patient

Defiantly changed my life. The team have always been supportive and give me excellent service.

Patient, Buckinghamshire

I would just like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for my amazing new leg.  Luke and Ian  have made it brilliantly and it fits like a glove.

It’s very daunting going through a trauma like I have but coming over to Pace has been an absolute pleasure, you all made me feel so welcome and gave me the confidence to progress as quickly as I have.
