RBLR 1000 Mile Challenge
A group of amputee patients from PACE Rehabilitation plan to participate in the forthcoming Royal British Legion Rider's (RBLR) 1000 Mile Challenge in June 2010, on their motorcycles.
They will be attempting to complete the one thousand mile ride within 24 hours! Organisers hope that a new world record is set in the process, with a record number of competitors completing the demanding challange.
Andrew Dalton, Partner at Buckinghamshire motorcycle solicitors White Dalton, who are proud supporters of the charity and the event, commented "Its terrific that participants in this demanding challenge will include amputees from PACE. Adding "We are proud and pleased to be supporting the Royal British Legion's youngest and fastest growing branch in raising funds, and having a good time doing it, to support serving members of HM Forces, veterans and their families".
Andrew continued "The Legion offers practical help and support to those that were prepared to put life and limb on the line for our nation, and we are pleased to do our little bit to help the Legion assist those servicemen and women who, for whatever reason, need some additional assistance, whether still in uniform or on civvie street".
