PACE (Chesham) Launch
PACE Rehabilitation hosted a launch event to celebrate the opening of its second multi-disciplinary rehabilitation facility, in Chesham (Bucks) on 1st May 2008.

The well attended event saw a broad selection of guests, ranging from physiotherapists, members from the prosthetic industry and representatives from local businesses and the surrounding community, including Chesham Mayor, Cllr. Merrin Molesworth.
Following a tour of the brand new facility, Cllr. Molesworth, formally opened the building and welcomed PACE to the region, commenting “It is reassuring to see that PACE's experienced and dedicated staff provide professional, independent, clinical rehabilitation to those who have suffered the life changing experience of a limb amputation, or serious limb injury.

She continued “On behalf of the Council and community, I welcome PACE to the town and wish you every success."
Pace director, Toby Carlsson, explained – “PACE is delighted to extend its services with a second, more southerly, facility. The establishment of PACE Chesham offers clients and referrers easy access to our professional services from most of the UK.”

Guests then had the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality and met with past and present clients of PACE, including members the Great Britain Adaptive Rowing squad and the England Disabled Badminton team.
Prosthetist Jamie Gillespie, who heads the team at Chesham, said “We are already supporting clients here and I am delighted with the enthusiasm and interest already generated in this new facility. We look forward to supporting more and more clients as we become established.”
