Clinical Team Expanded

Pace is pleased to welcome an additional HPC Registered Prosthetist/Orthotist to its clinical team.

Based at Pace’s Cheadle clinic in Cheshire, Howard Woolley brings a decade of experience, from previously practicing in the NHS.

Howard's prosthetic career began at Preston Disablement Service Centre, before spending the past seven years at the Stoke-on-Trent Centre.

Already Howard is settling into his new environment, explaining, “I am delighted to join the professional team at Pace and am really enjoying the variety of prosthetic provision provided here, in the independent sector. He continued, "From day one, I have been presented with new and interesting challenges, which has been terrific”.

One of Howard’s first patients is Irish paracycling team member Colin Lynch. As Howard explains, “Colin’s is one of several Paralympic athletes Pace is providing prostheses for. It’s great to be assisting him with his specialist cycling device”.

Founding director and fellow Prosthetist/Orthotist Toby Carlsson said, “We are very pleased to welcome Howard into our multidisciplinary team. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills that we, as clinicians, and our patients have already started to benefit from".

Howard’s appointment increases the flexibility of the clinical team across Pace’s two clinics.
